J.R. Jones Roofing was established in 1983 by former President, James Ronald Jones. The company was originally established in Houston, Texas as strictly a commercial, industrial, and retail roofing corporation. Although the company was established in Texas, it did not remain local very long. Due to high demand from many loyal clients and customers over the past 28 years J.R. Jones Roofing has grown exponentially to completely cover the entire North American region.
The expansion J.R. Jones Roofing has experienced has not been limited to strictly location and geography. J.R. Jones Roofing has diversified its services to include, not only roofing, but the entire building envelope in order to increase our list of services to roofing, architectural sheet metal, and waterproofing (including negative side). However, the list of services is not the most important aspect of J.R. Jones Roofing. A project is only as successful as the people and partnerships that are formed during the processes. J.R. Jones Roofing has been fortunate to have many great clients and customers over the years and the reason for this is simple, - it’s the people. It is having people that are known for availability, reliability and their knowledge of roofing, sheet metal, and waterproofing. J.R. Jones Roofing does not just want to provide a high level of service in every project we undertake, we want to form a strong relationship based around an ideological belief that moves us to ask a simple question, “What can we do for you?”
Bill joined J. R. Jones Roofing in 1994, with 30 years experience in management, construction, project management, estimating and sales. Bill has served in executive roles for a variety of corporations, with diverse services, over the past 20 years. Those leadership roles enabled Bill to expand his natural leadership abilities, which he now brings to the J. R. Jones Roofing Executive Team.
Tommy joined J. R Jones Roofing in 2008 and brought a diverse background of experience and education, with a dual degree in advertising and public relations, and a combined 10 years of experience in sales, estimating, marketing, research, and real estate management, working for Fortune 500 Companies such as Merrill Lynch, The Staubach Company, and Cardiff Giant Productions. Tommy’s natural leadership qualities and initial successful sales and marketing campaigns were recognized early in 2011 as he was promoted to Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
Carlos joined J. R. Jones Roofing in 1987 and brought an extensive knowledge of construction and innate leadership qualities to every project he was involved with. He has obtained a diverse knowledge of the intricacies and nuances of any type of roofing, waterproofing, or sheet metal project. In 2010 Carlos was promoted to Vice President, Operations.
Chuck joined J. R. Jones Roofing in 2006 with a lifetime of roofing history, due to his thirty (30) plus years in the roofing industry. He has served in a variety of roles in his rich history, starting as a laborer, journeyman, foreman, superintendent, estimator, sales associate, sales manager, project manager, and senior project manager. Additionally, Chuck is an OSHA, CERTA, and William James Safety certified safety instructor. These skills greatly improve the quality of our projects as in 2010 he was promoted to Director, Project Management.
Ronna joined J. R. Jones Roofing in 2007, with 28 years of experience in office procedures, administrative duties, and management positions, predominately within the real estate industry. Ronna brings a strong background in English, accounting, office management and executive support.
Tom has served as J. R. Jones Roofing’s Certified Safety Professional for the past 5 years. Prior to his time here, he has served as an expert in the field of safety for the previous 25 years. He is a member and The Director of Construction for the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).
